THE PROCESS

Initial Consultation:
First we'll speak on the phone about your specific goals and needs. I want to learn as much as I can about your brand identity to help guide you in the atmosphere choices for your session.
We'll also discuss your photography roadblocks. Everybody has some trepidation about putting their likeness out for the world to see and I want to address any of those concerns right away and create a game plan for your success.
We also look closely at your brand colors and themes so that my photos blend seamlessly with your current website content and social media palette.

Location
After our consultation, I’ll have a clear understanding of the message you want the images to convey—and more importantly, how you want your audience to FEEL when they see them.
From there, I’ll recommend location options that align with your brand’s tone and authority. We often choose to rent elevated, intentional spaces—not generic studios—so every detail reinforces your expertise and positions you exactly where you want to be seen.
Whether it’s a sleek corner office for a CEO, an industrial space for a tech podcaster, for a model, scroll-stopping street locations, the goal is always the same: to create an atmosphere so aligned with your identity that your audience immediately trusts what you represent.

Styling/Prop Strategy:
Many of my clients have questions about their photoshoot attire. I have been assisting my branding clients with their wardrobe choices for years and am happy to offer an optional styling consultation , free of charge, for every session. I will create a personalized Pinterest board for you with inspiration and help you nail down smart color choices that compliment your skin tone and branding palette.
Props:
During your initial consultation call we discuss "content pillars" and what those might be for you. Your props will directly link to these to easily create media that is part of a purposeful social media/blog strategy.
We also will take any product photography/flat lays that might clean up your website's generic stock imagery for SEO optimization.
