Bella + Jake | St. Mary's Catholic Church| Hawk Point, Missouri

Bella and Jake wanted a hometown rustic affair. They had asked me to scout out possible barns where we could take our wedding party photos. Hawk Point is a small town and I have no problem knocking on strangers doors for permission so off I went.

The owner of the first place that caught my asked with a sly side eye, "Well who alls gettin' married?" The question took me by surprise, but I answered and he laughed. "Oh it's Jake! Yeah, yeah that's fine." Gotta love that place where everyone knows your name! This was a homegrown party from start to finish! My favorite moments from this wedding were the three emotional first-looks. While Bella and Jake kept it traditional and did not wish to see each other before the ceremony Bella did a first look with her only sibling and brother, her dad, and later with her mother. Bella's relationship with her brother Jared has always touched my heart, they have been absolute best of friends and his first look was perfect! The first look with Bella's mom took place later and had the tears flowing! Bella surprised her with a second dress for the reception.
